I have been so caught up in describing all of the stuff that has been happening in Feb. - which has turned out to be a real busy month for me - that I forgot to tell you about my birthday gift.
For my gift - my parents got me - a brand new mattress and box spring!
I'm fairly practical - so I was overjoyed at this!
My old one was... I am embarrassed to say - 18 years old.
At first - it was great. Then a few years back I noticed it starting to sag, but it was still comfortable. Then for about a year now it hadn't been as comfortable... and was even more saggy.
I was dreading buying a new one. They are so expensive and I'm just working now on getting myself out of charge card debt.
So, this was my mom's idea.
Apparently you only need to rotate the mattress 2 x a year and this one - you only rotate it - you don't flip it.
I'm excited to go to bed now, as this mattress feels as nice as a hotel mattress.
So what is your ideal bedding?

I think they had a Stearnes and Foster at the store. :-) I liked the pillow.
This one is a Sealy Posturepedic -- I was impressed that they make them to order, it's not been sitting in some warehouse somewhere.

Oh no - that's just a photo from Pixabay.
I have a Mandala in blues, oranges, greens on mine.
My mom is working on making me a throw though :-)
I know, it would seem to go better flipping it. Must be in how they are made

I could use a new mattress for sure.Mine is about that old too. It is comfortable in sections but sometimes it feels hard as a board. I was sleeping at the Comfort Inn in November and that mattress was fantastic! I had forgotten how good it felt to sleep on a comfy mattress!

Ah, I think the flip vs. rotate mattress thing is just certain of styles. I know my old one I flipped.
I have hesitated on "My Pillow" because they are so costly - are they worth the cost?

I often had back and neckache but a good bed and pillow helped me a lot to ease these pains.
