No Diving High

I planned on going skydiving for my birthday this year (March 1st). I had gotten prices, and even talked to the doctor who takes care of my back. I'm case you're interested he said at this point skydiving is fine, but for me to never bungee jump (apparently bungee jumping is harder on the back). However, some of you might remember I also recently got the news my rent went up 40 dollars. So I am going to put it off again. I have tried to skydive for years around my birthday (a few relatives kindly send me money for my birthday), but you all know, bills come first, and there is always something. I'm going to just think about how much more I will enjoy it when I finally do get to go.
Incidentally, I asked my sister if she would come watch me skydive. When she said no, I asked her why. Her reply? "Because I have no desire to watch squirrels get squished either."
By the way, if you have skydived before I would love to hear about it. I'm going tandem, which means I will be attached to a licensed jumper who will handle pulling the chute.

I think I might do a tandem jump with a licensed jumper but not by myself. When I was in HS my best friend broke her leg sky diving.

I hope you get to do it soon! I love the idea of it, and I know that if I did it then I'd really enjoy it, but I don't think I'd ever actually get to the "jump" part

I can't see myself ever skydiving, as I have an aversion to heights. I hope you get to do it someday soon, though, if that's what you want to do!

I have never jumped from a plane and I plan to never do it either. If i were younger I might give it a try. I hope you get the chance too.

Wow! You are so daring! I understand - bills are the most important thing to take care, I agree. Maybe you could take just a bit of the birthday money and squirrel it away for the skydive?
Happy birthday!
