Gone Fishing

I went fishing all day today with my son. He caught a couple of good size mudfish, and i didn't get anything but sunburned a little on my shoulders.
We started at the lake. That's where the big fish are. Then we went over to the river. It was so windy there. We didn't catch anything. There's a Great Blue Heron we named Pearl that's always there waiting for some fish from us. Sorry to say she was out of luck today. Here she is standing about three feet away from me waiting.
We just catch and release.

So did my mom. We went fishing all the time when i was a kid. Yes i really enjoy that bird. It's like the fishing pier mascot.
