Hello from a new member!

Hello mylot community!
A new member here. I have just found out about this platform and thought to give it a try. So far, I had a look and saw some nice discussion here. So, I guess it should be fun.
I saw some posts about making money on this platform. Is that a reason why you have joined? I did not even know about this fact before. I joined because it seemed to me pretty much active here, and I have just moved to a new town, where I don't know many people except my work colleagues. I thought before I settle more in my new place, I can give a try to some nice online community.
Tell me, are here some environmentalists, nature lovers, rural life admirers?

Welcome, it's good to have you join us. I'm glad you didn't join for the money (it's very little), and there are some lovely people here. If you comment on people's posts that will get you noticed and they will most likely come to read yoiurs. Good luck.

No, I don't work as a forum poster or a writer - I wish I had more time to write, but with my full-time job as a dental hygienist I cannot manage. Only now, when not knowing the place that well, I have more time in the evenings to browse online.
