There is nothing wrong in having a big house in fact all should have a good house according to their interest.
Recently me and my friends went for one of our colleagues house inauguration. Its a big house, they have spent a large amount on interior decoration. We all felt really happy about that, but my colleague keep on boasting about how much they have spent on the interiors , not once of twice its been months now still the same. we all just smile, because we know she just keeps boasting but not happy they always have some quarrels in her house..some ego problems.
she keeps comparing her house with other colleagues who comparatively have smaller house, after listening to her for few months today my TL (team leader) just said it , " no use of having a big house when no one is happy"..she was hurt and left the place.
I don't know what will be her reaction from tomorrow ...
friends, what do you think about this? is my colleague wrong in boasting about her house and comparing with others ?
I feel there is nothing wrong in boasting about her big house but should not hurt others feelings by comparing her house with others...what do you say?

A Team Leader should not interfere in internal affairs of others.They should not go beyond the limit.

It's not team leaders fault at all...upto what extent can we bear some one..who is showing others down

Well, He was right about that. What's the point of having a big house when the family isn't happy in it. I would rather have a small house with happy siblings that gets along just fine. Maybe she shouldn't have bragged in the first place.

@Letranknight2015 we are not blaming her ..infact we dont talk anything about her, she is the who pokes into everything..so she should mend her ways..

Everything should be in balance and comparing with others material possessions leads to unhappiness.
When one works hard, he/she is entitled to the fruits but others may have different priorities.
I had a friend who tried to put down others with sarcastic comments about how wealthy she was to an extent to make sure it hurt others! siva

It's not team leaders fault... problem is with the colleague who keep on taunting and showing others down.. there should be some one to keep a check..so TL did it
