Writing about weather is boring but not this year

Europe is freezing but the North Pole where it is supposed to be winter the temperatures are rising. Back where I live it is extremely odd - quite cool in the early morning hours but not so later in the day. March per se is supposed to bring in summer and that is not what is happening. Our mango trees are flowering again. We got some mangoes earlier this week - a rare phenomena. This link writes about weather in the North Pole
Winter is still in full swing in the North Pole, but temperatures this week have been downright summerlike in the Arctic.

I've just seen where there has been snow on the pyramids. How crazy is that?

@allknowing And if you had my luck the day it snowed you'd be away somewhere else.

March is never a warm month in our country. We had a warm winter, but now it is colder than average and a lot of snow is coming down the sky.

I remember reading about an archeological find where they dug up remains of a tropical forest somewhere around Norway, as far as I know Norway is way too cold to be tropical, isn't that true?

All these changes in weather patterns do have an effect on the flora and fauna to a great extent and wonder what causes it since you say this happened years ago as well and so nothing to do with global warming.

Well, it happened thousands of years ago @allknowing some archaeologists found tropical plants frozen many feet under a sheet of ice.

I agree with you. This is why I often watch from TV. The global weather has become very strange.

We've had a mild winter so far but then a lot of snow this week, often in places that don't generally get much.

I will not be surprised we too may get it although this place has never experienced it even once.

We are getting apples from our star apple tree - no mangoes until another two months.
