Frugal Shopping: Building an Easter Basket for my niece.

So yesterday while at Walmart I picked up the first two things to put in my nieces Easter Basket. Since she lives states away with her mother and grandfather and there's no way that I am going to be able to hand deliver it, I will be mailing it next week probably. The first two things I picked up yesterday were a Peppa Pig stamp, sticker and drawing pack. It comes with a little notepad, four markers, two rolls of stickers and some stamps and ink pads. Peppa Pig is her favorite show, so when I saw it I knew she needed it. I also found a little sucker that has a bunny face on it. So when she sucks on the sucker, it will look like she's a bunny. She also loves Hatchimals, so while on eBay I found a set of two of the little eggs that "hatch" and the little creatures come out of. Brand New still in package for $5.99 or best offer with free shipping. Well I made an offer of $3.99 and it was accepted. So I paid for that a few minutes ago. Then I looked up how much they were regular, and they are $8.99 or so. So that's good. I'm glad that I thought to make an offer, and got a steal that will make A happy! Now I just need to find the box to ship it, the actual basket, and some fillers to fill it with! Hooray!
