Are You Ahead Of Time?

We have five clocks at our place and none of them show right time! We deliberately keep the time at least 20 minutes ahead of actual time. Though today I don't require and Clock to show me time, as I am serving on the farm and I don't have any fixed working hours. Despite that we want our clocks to be ahead of time so that we won't get late in lives. This is a habit I developed when I used to be in College to avoid being late! Today this is of no use except for the day when we want to travel as our clocks are ahead og Clock at Airport by 20 minutes! Do You keep your Clocks ahead of time dear friend? What is the reason ?

My clocks are "radio controlled" the time auto-adjusts every hour at the hour.

@AKRao24 Yes, all the clock in the house are radio controlled, except my wrist watch, that is old but, it was of my grandmother and I love it.

my wrist watches are ahead or advanced, even our wall clocks at home. i have always practiced punctuality because i don't want to be late in gong to the hospital for my duty

@AKRao24 there are some occupations that still need punctuality; ergo, they adjust their timepieces in more advance or ahead than the real time.

@AKRao24 We have lots of clocks here and I try to put them all the same time. When it comes to changing the clocks I like to have them all the same time so just change them all at once.

Yes, our clock is 30 minutes ahead and that is fixed for not making the children for school. They are keen to look on the clock. However, our mobiles and watches shows the exact time.

I know of a friend who keeps his clock ahead of time for the same reason - not to be late for appointments.

Yes, that is the reason, but how funny is this thing....despite knowing that we have advanced the time we still want to follow the time every time taking the advanced time into consideration! Thanks!

The clock in the car that I drive is intentionally set 10 minutes fast, so that I arrive about 1 minute early.

Mostly our clocks stay at the right time within a minute or two. Because we're no long working an accurate clock isn't as important as it used to be.
