pc dvr card not recording

i bought a dvr card to connect my cctv camera to my pc, all went well with instalation of card and program that came with it,now the problem is the camera though saying its recording does not save the recording to the hd and at the bottom of the screen it says 'disc occupied' i removed my tv card and drivers etc even pinical 8 but still the same please has anyone got any idea what could be wrong thanks jem
