March Writing Challenge - D1
March 2, 2018 6:11pm CST
Found a new writing challenge thing to do, and since it has 30 days, and March has 31 - but we're already on day 2 - it works out perfectly . So here we go.. Day One: Ten things that make you really happy. One: That both my mom and brother are still alive, and well. I'd be so lost without them. Two: The boyfriend. Most days. Three: Still living in this apartment after 20 years, and all the different memories that have been made here! This is my forever home. Four: Food. I may be a "very" picky eater, but when it comes to the food I love - I am a huge food lover, and I will eat it all. Five: Having family time. I don't have much family, but I do love the little bit of family time I get. Six: My tv shows, and music. Not much is better than being entertained, and relaxed. Or having songs that reflect your thoughts and moods, playing. Seven: Helping others. It makes me happy, making others happy. Eight: Snow! But you all already knew that Nine: Getting a good nights sleep. Which doesn't happen often anymore, so it's definitely something that makes me really happy right now. Ten: Being a mom. The best thing I've ever done is love and care for a little human that was inside of me, and then continue to do so after she was out here in the world.. And then still do so after she was taken from me. * * Well, that's it for day one.

That's such a great list. I can't imagine how awesome it is to be a mom. I am definitely thankful my dad is still alive because I miss my mother every day. I'm also thankful my sister and brother-in-law adopted Amyra and Hudson because they are what made me believe in love at first sight.

I'd like to get in on the challenge, but I didn't see it until today. Maybe I'll just do Day 1 today anyway. I really relate to your number five. I almost never get a good night's sleep anymore. I'm glad my brother is still alive. He's the only family I have left except for his wife and children and some cousins in other parts of the country. I miss my parents and children.

You don't have to make it a month of march challenge, it can just be a 'writing challenge' and you can start any day. or you can just do day ones like you said. doesn't matter. I just started it on march 2nd since the month had 30days left, and challenge has 30days. family is definitely a good thing to be happy about.
