Is 'the Love You Feel for Your ''Significant Other''' the same as the ''Love'' that ''God Is,'' or is it just Deep Attraction?

That question came up (I'm still 'formulating the question,' so it might change---it was originally "God is Love ... What Kind of 'Love' Is He?") when I was thinking about the 'deep attraction' that many romantic-comedy movies use to 'paint maniacal stalkers as "heroes of love."' Those maniacs' feel "attraction" and NOT Love. https://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110618020931AAOpL0c (Oh, they think it's love; but 'an orange doesn't become an apple if you call it "an apple"!') I think "the 'love' we say God is" is more like 'acceptance of another person in a role in your life'---for example: I "love" you all as members of myLot; I might not 'like' any of you the way I 'like' a family-member or an old friend from my school-days, but--as long as you contribute 'agreeably' (according to myLot's Guidelines)--your input is welcome. God might not "force you to be happy," but he accepts you in the role of "his child." That's why Christians always pray "in Jesus' name." Christians believe that Jesus was an exemplary son-of-God. When they say 'in Jesus' name,' they're essentially announcing "this is stuff Jesus Himself is hoping for, Daddy (or in Aramaic/Hebrew Abba)." (I'm sure some will say "But He still is the Son of God!" and that's fine, but we don't encourage our children to read about 'what He's doing now' so much as we encourage them to read about 'what He did when He lived on Earth!') The point is---God might not "like" us, but he 'provides for his children.' By obeying God, people 'fill the role' and 'take the supplies needed to continue to fill the role.'

I really like the picture you use. It tells you the difference of love from obsession. It's nice actually

I know you mean something good there, but what is it? Are you telling us 'that God has all of humanity (ourself),' 'that God has ME (making "ourself" a typo that was supposed to be "Yourself")?' or were you saying 'GOD' as an "exclamation" (like "D'oh!") and then telling me to love myself. If you meant that last one, I'd remind you that "God says, 'It is not right for the man to be alone.'"
