Well they have prescribed three different medicines and sent me home. I have viral pharyngitis. I can't work till Wednesday at the earliest, which is fine because I can barely move right now.
I came home, made a cup of broth and took my medicine. Hopefully it starts helping soon.

That's good they were able to tell you what you have. What medicine did they give you?

@shaggin yeah, they didn't do any tests on me, he just said he was going to treat it as if it were strep, because that's what it looked like.

They gave me a steroid, amoxicillin and a cough syrup

I hope so too. I fell asleep at about eight last night and woke up about an hour ago, I hope that I fall asleep soon. I took another dose of all my medicine. So hopefully that will start kicking in soon

If you are not feverish, you can watch TV or read. If you are, you better sleep it off.

so, your voice is not sounding good? pharyngitis i believe affects the vocal chords.
