After watching the news reports on the Nor'easter that has hit just before the weekend killing more than 6 people and leave over 2 million without power and causing much damage along the North east coast line I wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with you and that this next storm headed your ay dies out. I hope recovery is quick also.

I am in NYC and we had that storm. But to my surprise, no power outages and no one killed and also no snow. What a lucky thing. Now they are talking about another one on Wednesday. Wow. Will this winter ever end.

Glad you were safe. One of the deaths was a 6 year old boy killed by a falling tree as he slept in the upper bunk of a bunk bed

@CoralLevang Thank you. Nothing happened much. But there is another storm coming tonight and through out tomorrow. It is what it is. I will be fine. Not to worry.

There is another Nor'easter headed there on Wednesday. I got a notice that we lost power at our lake house in Pennsylvania for a few hours but all is well now.

We got over a foot of snow and lots of people without power. We were one of the lucky ones though & had power. Some people are still digging out from the storm as well. I hope this is the last of it this year.

They got hit again and again and are due for another one. Our son and his bride are staying in our house since we're not there while looking for a new home. They lost power, but thankfully were able to figure out how to use the generator. They were lucky not to have lost power for the following storms. Our friends were not as lucky.

2 million without power? Wow, that is a huge number. I hope people will stay safe.

I was looking on the Weather Channel's website last night, and they were saying that potentially another Nor'easter could be hitting them, making it three in a row. That's just too much for those poor people to bear. That would be like three hurricanes in a row hitting us in Florida. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my friends up in the Northeast. Hopefully, this next storm will die out and not be as bad as they say it might be.
