Sewage

Omg, my neighbor has a sewage problem, she has a drain on the sidewalk and it is backing up and toilet paper and poop all over and it smells.
I have called the city for the 3rd time and finally today they sent some one out to clean up the mess. The smell was awful and it goes on monthly, I just don't understand why this can't be fixed once and for all.
I have never seen a sewage drain on the sidewalk, I thought there were all on the street.
Today it rained, so it didn't help to have poop all over the ground, so upset it took this long to get action.
I was happy to see the big truck finally arrive, and clean up.

Many years ago a tube had a leak in our house and the whole basement was full of excrements. My husband and I had to clean it because the other people in the house were already ancient and couldn't help. We found two sacks of sawdust and put it over the mess. Then we shovelled it into buckets and out into the garden.

wow that's sad it took that long for someone to come out and fix the issue. I'm glad they did but that awful smell would bother me too.

It isn't over yet, it started erupting today and they been working on it most of the day.

They still working on it, I am afraid it is really bad, and they been here all day , and the smell is unreal.

It is a big, big job, I thought they took care of it, but they are back today, it is a major problem.
