It doesn't really bother me as I am usually thousands of miles away from most of the people here anyway. I don't mind disclosing little things about myself as long as they don't ask me for anything financial.

Yeah some are comfortable to a certain limit of disclosure but at times it doesn't seem to satisfy the stranger.

They can ask me all they want but the last say if I want to answer or what info I want to give or share is still mine, I fully understand that when I join a site like Mylot, there would be lots of people with different traits, personalities, peculiarities, education etc... beides the more they ask the more I earn

. Go ahead ask me all you want but if I do not answer you should understand what it means, it's your own lookout and thanks in advance for adding to my bank

That's also done if we don't reply that person should understand that we are not interested but, I had someone who was very keen to know and even posted on another of my discussion that you din't reply to my question in your previous post

Asking someone to mention the name of the country where they live is not getting personal. It's a sad fact that many posts don't make sense if the reader doesn't know where a member lives. I once read a post with the sentence, "It's raining here." No idea where 'here' was.

Yeah actually asking someone the country if its not displayed is normal but I had encountered someone who knew from which country I am but he wanted more in-dept where in the country the exact location.

I agree with you on that if we have been communicating with each other online for long and the trust is developed between us then sharing is alright but there are few who come along and want to know every bit of your life in detail.

Yeah they are everywhere..specially on Mylot too.if I'm not interested to reveal the details I just ignore them.its no wrong knowing about ones country other than that one should not cross the limit.
