Our Pup Wants the Same Diet as the World's Oldest Cat

Apparently, feeding two cats bacon, eggs, broccoli, asparagus, and coffee with cream, helps a cat live so long that the cat makes it into the Guinness Book of World Records. Jake Perry, the feeder of the bacon-egg-broccoli-asparagus-topped-off-with -coffee-with-cream diet to his two cats led to record-breaking longevity for his two felines. Crème Puff lived to age 38 years and 3 days, and she still holds the record for the world's oldest cat. Crème Puff made it into The Guinness Book of Records in 2005. Granpa, not spelled "Grandpa" by the way, was also owned by Jake Perry, and Granpa lived to the ripe old age of 34 years and 2 months. He broke the Guinness World Record for oldest cat in 1998 When our pup Molly learned that Crème Puff lived to age 38 years and 3 days, she insisted that she too eat the same foods, including coffee with cream, as Crème Puff and Granpa enjoyed. Oh, Crème Puff and Granpa did enjoy a bit of red wine every now and then too. Photo: Crème Puff

I'm not very sure but animals of different species may have different digestive enzymes so what's good for one may not be good for the other so further studies should be made. Iike the other comment, just let us eat in your house, please

Molly turns her nose up regarding veggies too. Bacon and eggs and cream would be welcomed by Molly.

It actually makes no sense to me to give veggies to dogs and especially not cats @Corbin5 both are carnivores not omnivores.

Wow, that is very old indeed for a cat. I don't think my little cat would have liked 'greens' any more than my husband does.

We had a kitty cat and no way would she eat greens. My sister has 4 cats, and Miss Murphy is age 20 and still doing quite well.
