How many times do you comb your hair?

I comb my hair only after taking a bath and when I'm going outside. But if I'm in the house, I will only leave it in a bun and that's it. I read an article that if you comb your hair often, it will damage the strand of hair. And it's okay to just comb it using your hand so that you will know where the tangles are and you can easily untangle them. I can also say that I'm stress because of the hair strands that is falling whenever I comb my hair. That is why I often using shampoo and allow the conditioner to work. Since I have a colored hair, I sometimes using hair spa.

I wrote a post about this recently about brushing. I brush my hair as often as I can because it can get knotted really fast because I have thick long hair.

Oh yes, I agree with using a conditioner. It will help soften your hair and shines.

@vsai2008 I notice that I have hair fall too but I don't think it has something to do with the conditioner I am using because ever since I've been using conditioner and I don't have hair fall. They said it's because of the stress I am having that is why I have hair fall.

In the olden days, people used to brush their day 100 strokes a day. Some of them had lovely hair and it didn't all fall out.

@JustBhem I doubt there was much hair colouring going on in those days.

And I wonder why. I read some of the articles and yes, it works for them, maybe because they are using natural man-made shampoo and conditioner.

I comb my hair once a day in the morning. I have long straight hair and it doesn't need more often combing.

I always barb a skin cut so I don't have to comb my hair often. Whenever I require combing of the hair, it is time to go to the barber's.

It is funny. I do not actually comb my hair. I just let it air dry daily. And run my fingers through my hair. In some occasions that I need to be more decent looking (formal) I do not have a choice. I also experience some hair fall and I think I need to cut my hair. I want t wash and wear kind of hair.

I comb my hair very often and it's thick and healthy although I've had it dyed for decades. This shows you that you don't have to believe everything people say.

@ridingbet I comb it with my fingers first then I'm using it with a comb. I only comb my hair if I'm going outside. But if I'm inside the house, I just let it lose or tie it in a bun.

I comb my hair whenever I find it crowdy. I have a natural curly hair and it´s more curly after taking a bath. I don´t know how many times I comb my hair but I will check that out tomorrow.

That's what I'm doing. I comb my hair with my fingers before using a comb so that no more tangle along the way.

I comb my hair before bathing if time allows me. I will comb again before going to bed. It helps blood circulation (I read it somewhere like that, I don't know about the fact). If you are loosing hair then try to find out the reason and treat the same. There may be plenty of reasons for falling hair.

Speaking of combs, I've been using the same one for like four years now. It's a cheap purple Springmaid comb and my friends tease me why I don't buy a new one. haha
