And by this I mean the kind you would literally take a pen and some paper (sometimes fancy paper called stationery) and physically write a letter, and mail it. Of course part of the fun was decorating your letters with stickers, stampers and the like. I was thinking about this set of markers I had. They were the size of markers and would leave imprints in the form of - hearts, kissy lips, 4 leaf clover, feet, dog paws, lightning bolts, and, of course - smile faces. I had tons of those stamp markers! They were so much fun!I would write my friends notes with them. I know I had the entire alphabet and then just as many ones that were designs like swirls and lightning bolt etc.

@FayeHazel writing letters using no pen and only the alphabet stamp markers took an eternity but was fun.

What was once old and out of style becomes "new again." How cool is that

@FayeHazel I guess it depends on what is being brought back from the land of "retro."

There are of course pros and cons to today's technology but I admit the way it was used to be in the past, as for communication was a lot better more personal feeling

I know, right? It isn't as instant or as easy but there is nothing quite like a hand written letter
