Hopewell firefighters revive a dog that was deceased inside a home

This story is amazing since it shows the superb work of firefighters in Hopewell Virginia. Firefighters answered the call about a burning home in the 2900 block of Bluefield Street on Saturday morning. When the firefighters went inside the home, they found a lifeless dog that was inside a cage. EMT Clayton Deguentz gave the lifeless dog that did not have a heartbeat CPR to revive the dog. The dog recovered thanks to the actions of EMT Deguentz and he was able to walk around under his own power. The dog was also assisted by officials of Hopewell Animal Services to see if the dog was healthy again after the death scare from the fire that began in the back of the house. The owner of the dog was not named in the story to reunite with his best friend. The cause of the fire that was put out in 20 minutes is being investigated by the authorities. It is a new way for the firefighters to gain some admiration from the people they serve in their communities after the dog was revived by the firefighters in Virginia on Saturday morning.
