Hello, everyone! I have noticed that many people are eager to know how to earn money online, so I would like to share my experience. I hope that you will find it helpful. I am planning to create several discussions on the topic, which will not be connected with each other. I work online and have some experience. As for now, my main income is from YouTube and blogs. There are many ways to earn online and in this article, I would like to talk about content writers and copywriters. Many people want to work as content writers or copywriters. My advice is to be sure that your English is good enough for that (if you are a foreigner), otherwise, your work will not be accepted and paid. Some people use such platforms as Upwork, Guru, Fiverr, and others, but personally, I do not use them. The only thing I can say is to be careful of scammers in there: work only through the platform and do not give your skype ID to work with a person in private - in most cases, he will not pay for your work. There are certain tools which I find pretty helpful: a free extension Grammarly in Chrome (buy a full version if you want to improve the quality of your work). There are also Grammark and ProWriting Aid which can be helpful. I use worcounter.net where I can write an article without worries of its accidental deleting (if you are signed in) and count the words. Some people use Copyscape to check their articles for plagiarism level. I also like Duplichecker and Plagium. Visit Problogger to find a job of a writer there. You can begin with finding your first clients on Facebook, there are special groups for it. Do not agree to a monthly payment at once - it can be a scam. Ask for trust building - instant payment after 1 article finished. If your potential clients offer you $50-100 per 1 article, it is a scam (90%). I worked as a content writer, and I can say that I could make a living working hard, but I earned not as much money as I wanted. If you have other tips for those who want to work online as copywriters or content writers, share in comments, please. I hope that my discussion was helpful for someone

"My advice is to be sure that your English is good enough for that (if you are a foreigner)". This sentence should make sense. Sadly, you forget that there are very many people online whose native language is English and who commit horrible blunders, too.

Oh, since I am a foreigner myself, I am too modest to advise something like that to native speakers

@MashaVickina You don't have to be modest at all. I've got to know many Russian language students who've come to German secondary grammar schools where Russian is taught as foreign language assistants for the teachers. There were also other foreign students from France, Italy, England (always only one at a time). I can honestly say that the Russian students were the best language-wise. What they lacked was a general knowledge of the world, but the others weren't much better in that field, either. What I also know is that it is a sad fact that English isn't always taught well in English speaking countries. Many people have the strange idea that it isn't necessary to occupy oneself with English because everyone knows their native language well. If only! Have you noticed how many native speakers haven't got the foggiest idea about the difference between their/there/they're and so on and so forth?

In India, we deal with the payment terms first and then start the work. I too have been cheated many times.

Good I am sorry to hear that. My husband prevented me from cheating, so I have been only once.

I am a professional content writer and have worked as a freelancer many times. However, most of the times I got cheated. After taking and publishing the work, they didn't pay me.

Sad, just be attentive and double-check your clients. Good luck!
