After a tiring day, all I want is bed. We came back after 5PM, no lunch and just a couple of coffees to keep us alive. The only good things about the day were that I took my blood exams. I hope they are good. If not, I have a horizon of diabetes. Besides that, between the doctor and the health insurance company, we went to the farmers market where we got some beautiful veggies for half the price of the supermarket. As I am planning on having more sauteed veggies and less carbs as side dishes, the purchase was awesome. See you tomorrow friends. Good night and sleep tight.

@Courtlynn I know that health insurance companies are a pest. But every time I go, I get pissed.

Oh, my I always barge in when ever you are going to sleep. I've been eating vegetables myself since the return of my gout and it's been 9 days now but the pain has slightly subsided. Take care and good night.

Don´t you have pills for your goat? My mother did. She said a gout attack was excruciating pain.

I went to Italy last Sunday to buy fresh vegetables. We like artichokes, tomatoes and bell peppers.

I should not eat artichokes too much. They have something that my body does not like. But I love them so much that I prefer to suffer afterwards.

@marguicha they are generally not cheaper here. The farmers markets that they have here are usually more expensive than the grocery stores

Continue to eat more of vegetables and less of carbohydrates and anything containing sugar. Diabetes has no cure; it can only be managed.
