Would you approach a man you find interesting?

The dominant perception is that men are the ones who do the first approach when it comes to dating and relationships. But I think that is changing. Some women these days go ahead and approach a man they find interesting. Here in Nigeria, if a woman does that, she is subtle in her approach. Hey, female mylotters, would you make the first approach to a man you find interesting? Male mylotters, how would you react if a female made the first approach?

I would cringe, and definitely doubt that person. There's just no way that I would believe some one is interested in me unless they have an agenda.

They would surely have an agenda - to win your heart. Or do you think it will be your money?

@mydanods Sad to say, I think it could be money. There's only one person who kept noticing me and it was years ago, I don't really know what to do with her until she somehow quit her job one day.

@sharon6345 yup that's me. Every one has a different opinion, but I'm happy the way it is now.

PUh lease, I am a pretty forward person, if I find a guy interesting, you better believe I'm gonna approach them, especially if you find that you both have a lot in common. It's 2018, life's too short to be subtle.

You can really be forward. In Nigeria, the man would think you are after him for the money.

I did once and got knocked back! My friends dared me and as I was feeling brave I asked him to dance. He wasn't interested lol! After that I waited for men to ask me but some women ask men out over here and it's no big deal.

So your reaction takes each person as they come. That means you will tend to consider the person if you like that person.

I might if I really liked the male. I would really have to like him a lot and not be married but I am.

That means you do not subscribe to the stereotype that only the men should make the first move. Right?
