How's the weather where you are?

Here in Northern California, we had some rain last week, which kept our hills Ireland green. Yesterday was sunny and warm (70s F), so I unleashed "rain showers" on the kids at the preschool as they ran around squealing. Today it feels warm, but I see nothing but clouds. I'm not sure if it's supposed to rain or not. I'll have to call my brother in Mass. to see if the snow has hit there. Here's a picture looking East from this past Sunday's hike as the sun was starting to set in the West.

It has rained until around 3 PM and now it is sunny. It is a weird weather, but at least it is no more cold.

Right now in Maine, the weather isn't easy to deal with. It's snowing now, and we're supposed to get up to twenty inches of the white stuff tonight and tomorrow. And to make matters worse, the snow might be heavy, wet snow, which is tough to shovel and can cause power outages.

I've heard about the snow over there. I associate our January and February green hills with Ireland, but I've never been there. Some day, I will visit.

Yes! It's interesting to me how there are colors on the horizon to the East as the sun is setting to the West. The inspiration Point trail (it is actually called the Nimitz, or something like that) affords views in all directions, depending on where you are. It's a North/South trail at the top of a ridge.

The weather where I am has been snowing on and off since yesterday. It has stopped for now but we are not done yet. We are on a snow storm until tomorrow afternoon.

Total spring weather here right now, but it's also very windy. We're under high fire danger, and they started a huge fire on Fort Carson during live fire exercises yesterday. Had to evacuate nearby homes and stuff.

I just had a travel to your state last month and luckily it was almost sunny everyday It was warm in my city in the past days until today. Today the temperature dropped suddenly and it has a little rain. It seems that the winter is back again. The good news is soon it will be warmer.

I live not too far from JJ, but a little south, so I have a slightly modified version of his meteorological schizophrenia. Yesterday afternoon it was 60. Last night, it snowed... not a great deal, but enough for me to the a "gathering" on the garage roof.

That's funny. We don't get swings like that here. But we do have "micro-climates." In the Summer, it can be 95 here (inland) and 60 at the beaches.
