Good afternoon/evening to all my friends here in the myLot world. I've been busy doing things around the house this morning so this is the first chance I've had to sit at the computer and say hi. Since my house is two levels I decided to stay upstairs for awhile this morning. I changed the sheets on my bed, did a few loads of laundry, vacuumed and dusted my room and then cleaned the bathroom. I have a very large master bedroom with a pretty big bathroom. It's like having my own private suite but it's not easy keeping it all dust free. Since we have forced hot air heating it just blows dust throughout the house all the time. It doesn't matter is it's the heat or the air conditioning...dust is a daily occurrence. Some days I feel like my house is too big even though it was my choice when house hunting 8 years ago and looking to downsize. The older I get the more time it takes to clean. I can't zip through the house anymore and I miss those days when I was agile and full of energy. However, my daughter is a big help and does her share of cooking and cleaning so I'm not trying to tackle it all myself. After a busy morning I'm going to chat there for awhile and then this afternoon I want to sit and read. I haven't been reading much lately and I need to get back to enjoying a good book. I swore I wouldn't talk about the weather here today (even though we're having a blizzard and not the kind from Dairy Queen). What are you doing for fun today?
