I just received a message from my neighbor, the water supply disruption plan in our area has been extended to 6 days, and we might get the water supply back on Sunday's evening.
I was "planning" how we can survive without water supply in 3 days, and now 3 more days are added. Due to the incident happened at the water plant and serious injuries to the staff, this extension has to be made. I know we have to be understanding, but we also need to "plan" what to do in these few days.
We have been eating out everyday in the past two days, and also bought some drinking water. Our expenses for this month will really be a lot. I just hope we have enough water in our storage tank to last us for 6 days just for the basic usage.
Well, this is added to my "life experiences" - 6 days without water supply. I am thankful that we still have electricity.

It is good you can find some reason to be thankful. It does stretch the brain to find ways to survive.

We also have no water supply from time to time but they do come back at some point of the day. That is really difficult. I hope you manage to survive

Yes, we used to have two months where we have water supply for alternative days, that was already quite challenging for us. Now, it's one whole stretch for 6 days, so it's even more challenging. Perhaps we can know how long the water storage tank can last us.

What a long time! I think you still need the water to bath and toilet, especially you have three young kids. I wonder whether it will be better for you to live in a common hotel for a week. Or is it possible to have the bath in your relative or friend's home?

Luckily we still have the water storage tank that supply enough water for us to bathe, for toilet use and some basic use. Yes, the young kids, specially the baby might need more water, but it's also a good opportunity to teach my big kids to save water. They learn how to use half pail of water to take a quick shower.
We have planned if our water storage tank is running out of water, then we'll go back to our hometown, or perhaps take bath in a friend's house. I'm glad that the water supply is finally back, and now we should be back to normal soon.
