My dinosaur laptop runs so slow that I am considering buying just a small laptop or netbook as soon as I get my first paycheck and caught up on bills. I went to Walmart looking for something like this and couldnt really find anything. I had a Google Chromebook for a while but I didnt really like it. This is where I need help from the tech savvy folks. Anyone here own a netbook or smallish laptop? What brand? Or better yet, where did you buy it? Happy Thursday all!

If you need small laptop I would suggest Lenovo Yoga. It's hibrid tablet and laptop. I always buy in specialized store equipment.

Does it have a keyboard? I would also like to store some photos on it, is that possible?

@maezee Yes it has. It has everything like standard laptop only you can detach keyboard if you want and use it as tablet. When you again need keyboard, attach it and that it's.

11 years ago I had my very first tiny 7 inch netbook, the very first one that was released and other brands followed suit after. It was by Asus. So I think when it comes to netbooks, Asus would be great. But I used that tiny tiny netbook for only a few months and then I gave it away. I'm using a MacBook Pro 13 inch and I wouldn't suggest a MacBook Air or MacBook for you as the price is just way too expensive and the new MacBook though super thin and very light, is very limited in specs but overly priced. However, I love my MacBook pro with Touch Bar and wouldn't ever exchanged it for any brand in the world. But the MacBook? I think it's just a fancy tiny computer that's overly priced.

I have always had luck with HP. I am still using a laptop with windows 8 on it. I have one with windows 10 on it as well, but I don't like the operating system

I just got an Acer back in the fall and I like it. It was less than $400 on amazon. We have Chromebooks at work and I don’t like them at all

I dont either. And i believe with chrome books you have to have a wifi connection to even access your desktop. Which I do not like. I will check your brand out. Thats not a bad price.

I have a smaller notebook computer. Its an HP, 11 inches, but they make a larger version as well. Its an HP Stream Hp11-y020wm It was under two hundred bucks, has a great battery life and I love it.

@maezee I love mine! It does everything I need it to do. I looked at Chrome books back in December before I bought this and this was a much better deal. Plus it came in fun colors. Lol.
