why is discussing intimacy in marriage taboo?

Is it because we are always taught not to let other in? Not tell others our problems? Is it because noone wants to say the honest to God truth? Sex is important to me. I dont care what anyone says about sex it is super important. May not be the top #1 thing but its in the top 3. The sad part is so many people are having bad sex and just going with it instead of opening the lines of communication. ( this isnt a guess, Ive had people tell me) Why is it in the areas we need the most help, we stay silent for fear of judgement from others.

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction. Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

I'm not interested in other people's intimacy and feel no urge to discuss my own. I'm sure that you can find sites on which you can discuss intimacy. MyLot isn't one of them.

@MALUSE You just proved my point. why is it that people are content in the walls but never want to escape them?

@IyanaRenee Everyone can decide that for themselves and nobody has to justify their decision for others.
