Oh Rats! We Are Still Here!!!

My sister's cat Edward has allergies. Edward does go to the veterinarian so that his allergies can be treated. Sis and Edward were in the waiting room of West Suburban Veterinary Clinic, and both were waiting to be called into an examination room. Poor Edward was hiding under the towels Sis draped over him, to ease his nerves, while in the waiting room. Edward got his bravery together to take a little peek to see if he was still in the waiting room where those veterinarians do their thing. Alas, poor Edward was still in the waiting room so back under the towel his little kitty-cat head went. Edward is doing so much better now due to his visit to the veterinarian. It was a costly visit according to Sis, but worth it!

@Corbin5 Finding what an animal is allergic to is a hard business. I'm glad the Doc figured it out. Leah pup gets red sore ears every couple of months and I figure its unknown allergies. I squirt medicine in that the doc gave me and off we go though leah hates the entire business of being fussed with.

My vet recently started a fear free clinic and waiting room. I am not sure how that works. Maybe they spray pheremones around or something. Last time Milo was at the vet..he knocked down the vets model of animal teeth and broke it..bad Milo!

@Corbin5 My dog Ted had that happen to him, as a young dog. His skin was actually raw and bleeding, from the terrible itching. The vet gave him some kind of powerful shot, that really did the trick. He told me that it was from an allergy. Ted never again had this happen and he lived to be 14 years old:)

@kobesbuddy Edward's spots were raw and bleeding too. Edward's allergies do get a little better if the pollen count is not bad, but he still cannot get rid of them. I think he had an antibiotic shot to make sure his sores did not become infected. The medication does help him, thank goodness.
