Destination on Facebook Post

I am sure some of you have a facebook account. Today, I was confused as one of my FB friends put his destination that he was in Amsterdam. That was yesterday. Then a few hours he posted that he was at home in our hometown. Then after a few hours, it was stated that he was in Sweden. He is a seaman and so I didn't wonder but the shortness of the travel he had was impossible. Hubby said, anyone, can put that he or she is in Paris even if he or she is still in the Philippines. Then, he posted on fb our photo stating we are in our city in the Philippines. LOL! I was kicking myself as plenty were commenting and thinking we are in my home country. I would not wonder if some of my relatives will visit me in my hometown expecting some pasalubong (gifts). Crazy hubby I have. I didn´t comment on the post. I was just stalking. Do you post where you are on fb? I won´t, especially if it is the time I leave the house.

Yes, you can post other places than just where you are. I don't though. But if I go somewhere like the movies or resturant for a celebration or just with my niece or nephew, or like an hour or so away from home, I'll usually post the location, or least the resturant or store I'm at. But never post my location if home or anything.
I've done it once, when I am messing up with my niece, I posted in my FB few years ago that we are in Japan and she called me crying because she really wants to come with us so badly, later on I told her were are still home and we will never go to Japan without her.
