My biggest motivational advice to a writer is to write for yourself. You should but a lot of time into writing what you love and it will make writing things otherwise will become easier and more enjoyable. For example if you are trying to make money writing articles but your joy is poetry set yourself equal or more time for writing your poetry than you do for your 'work' writing. If you spend all your time writing assignments the disappointment and discouragement you feel from not writing what you love also will reflect in your writing and will be noticeable. You should assure your own happiness by spending time on the writing you enjoy. The best motivation for a writer is to read one's own work produced with joy so that we can spend the time needed to complete writing with a purpose.
