Tonight we had tuna salad, and cole slaw. Hubby could eat both easily. I also took some refrigerated crescent rolls and filled them with cheddar cheese. I then sprinkled them with parmesan and garlic. Those were harder for him to eat. For lunch I had a spinach salad. Hubby ate an entire can of clam chowder. I had blended it with an immersion or stick blender so that it was nearly smooth. He has not had good food in quite a while, so this was appealing. It was after they had adjusted his dentures. I shall continue to experiment with tasty soft foods. Hubby has no trouble eating ice cream.

In any case, it all sounds very delicious. What adjustments did they make?

I guess they trimmed them up or something. I was not there and he does not explain well.

@GardenGerty Sometimes they "level" them a bit in order for the bite to fit better, or so I've gathered.

Although I could just make yogurt smoothies the whole time, to me that would be really boring.

Sounds it was a hearty meal. Now you have to make allowances for your husband's adjusting dentures when you prepare the meal.

I am just glad that we have good foods on hand. I make my yogurt at home so we always have plenty.

Ice cream is the best he can eat right now. Things that make crumbs are not the best.

The bread did not make crumbs but it took more chewing than he wanted to do. Don't tell anyone, tonight after work we had small milkshakes from a drive in restaurant. Instead of supper. Yum.

@GardenGerty I had milkshakes for about one week when I had my two wisdom teeth removed. It was even during summer, so something cold was appreciated.

He will not eat Cream of Wheat or Malto Meal, but I love both. The first morning the oatmeal was even too much. We will try it again this weekend.
