Every morning when I step out to the verandah I see the wastepaper basket overturned and the waste spilled on the floor The night visitor rat must be strong enough to do this. I was getting ready to set a trap to catch the night visitor when I stumbled on the real culprit. In fact, I had seen him before loitering around the house. However, this morning when I stepped out I found the night visitor sleepily and unwillingly jumping off our summer bed, which is kept on the verandah. I don't mind you sleeping in my bed Mr.Tomcat , but you must help to reduce the rat population around and in the house. Do you have a night visitor too? To which species does it belong?

I have a night visitor in my ceiling. It is a cat. The first time, I thought it must be a snake because of all the noise it was making in the ceiling.

I do not have anything like this. But the squirrels here do like to forage

I have squirrels aplenty but they come only during day.

I was up very early this morning while it was still dark and I could hear something rustling on the shelves on the verandah on the other side of the wall. I put te light on and went out there but I couldn't see anything. I thought it might be one of our skinks but I didn't think they would come out until it was light and much warmer.
