I like hollywood movies from my childhood and I'm a fan of some American youtubers. So I used to watch their videos. Then I had some ideas about american culture and people's mentality.but I don't get the point of some mentalities.... 1.most of the parents don't allow their daughters to be a Teen or an early adult mom but the daughters are allowed to get a boyfriend and do stuff with him. 2.It's not a big deal to have many ex girlfriends or boyfriends but they can have only one at a time!! If they have more than one wife that's so weird. I can't accept that because many of the teenagers have part time jobs, in India many grandmas got pregnant in their teen. They were healthy. why can't they? puberty is the only thing to have a baby.No one can't fix the age to have a baby!! If a guy (if he wants) can have a chance to marry more than one wife,at least he will not cheat his wife. so this is my personal opinion about that.i'm not 100% sure I got their mentalities from youtube and movies only!! So what do you guys think??

I want to totally agree (because everything you say sounds perfectly logical); but 'the heart wants what the heart wants!' (something Americans say when they cannot explain why they do the things they do) But maybe we will uncover the explanations: 1. Parents know that their children 'are not ready to become parents' when they are still teenagers. (The parents were probably not ready themselves!) Children are a huge responsibility, and it is best for parents to be firmly established in order to give the children the support they need. But we humans are wild animals, especially in our youth! And we have to 'satisfy the hunger' of our bodies (after we have "fasted" for as long as possible!) We have all this 'stored energy' that we need to get rid-of---sometimes we do it with exercise (martial-arts, running, weight-lifting, aerobics), sometimes playing- or singing music, sometimes writing, painting, sculpting, dancing ... And sometimes "doing stuff with others." 2. If you were my girlfriend, I would not want to share you with any other boys (and I imagine you wouldn't want to share me with any other girls). That way, I could say that you were "mine & no one else's."

@NoorNoor Having many wives has another problem. There are always jealousies, her son did this, her daughter this...and differences crop up. Then property division there are fights. There are jealousies when compliments are paid. Marriage is a process that is like license to take next step..i.e., have babies. Before that people would like to know whether they can think alike, have common grounds. I see nothing wrong. It is better before having babies than being stuck in a bad relationship for the sake of children.

@NoorNoor Because 'being boyfriend-&-girlfriend' is usually the beginning of the process toward becoming 'husband & wife,' and--if a person is one-of-a-harem of lovers--it lacks the quality of showing them how 'their future spouse' will behave when they're married. Plus, there is 'the feeling of "ownership"---like you "won" that lover (whom no one else can ever have).'

Yes... I can understand your points I'm too young. And I don't want my husband to have many wives. I dont say a guy should have many wives!! what i'm asking is if they can have many ex gfs in different times, why can't they have many wives in a same time? Thanks for comment and especially for your ideas to get rid.

I see what you are saying about a guy having more than one wife. How it is here in the West, it is wrong to have more than one wife, but getting married and divorced 3, 4, 5 times, is not looked down upon. There is a saying that some of us say to refer to people who marry and divorce a lot, and that phrase is "serial polygamist".

@NoorNoor Man by nature is polygamous. And the word "man" should include women as well. What I mean to say is.......whether you get them married to one woman or 100 women they will go ahead and look for 2nd or 101th woman. So merely marrying multiple women is not the solution. Discipline is. The more people are disciplined, the more will society progress.

Yes...I too know that's illegal to have more than one wife.I thought if they can have many wives at different times, there will be no problem to have many wives at a same time.In india, there is a famous slogan which is "one man one wife".They(mostly)don't have many wives at different times and at the same time than westerner.and thank you for the info about "serial polygamist"

There is no age limit for getting married and having children. They should be ready for it to raise a child.Job and money play a very important role in raising a child.
