Yes, older folks will like this wonderful poem. Actually, I think even younger ones might like this poem because one day they'll be older too. A fabulous poem - Walk With Me While I Age Sorry, but in case you're wondering who wrote it? I don't know who wrote it but that's not important. What is important is that it was by someone who understand how older folks feel. A beautiful poem about getting older. I hope this poem has the same effect on you as it did on me; then my posting it will have been worth the effort. Walk with me while I age. Well worth the read. Walk With Me While I Age Let's discuss it? Tell me if it resonates with you, especially those that are older? And remember young ones, one day you'll be older too?

I thought to post the link to the poem, I think it is this one that you are mentioning. I am getting older, this is how I feel some days, other days I still feel like I were in my 30's.

Glad you noticed that I didn't post the poem. I must be getting old and getting forgetful. Interesting that some enjoyed the poem.

So, if I can climb one flight of stairs without being out of breath then I'm still ok? So what is a flight of steps, about 20 steps?

The poem is beautifully written. It resonates with me, as I found I quickly age too. My husband just told me, one of our high school mates just passed away. Every relationship really means much more to me now.

@1hopefulman Yes, when we are aging, we need to be prepared that we will continue to lose friends, relatives or even our family members.... That's what my husband and I were talking. Well, it's sad, but that's part of life too.

Well, I read it and I like it a lot. I am just starting to understand that poem now at this point in my life. Though life is not fair, I guess it is just the normal progression of life.

@1hopefulman I hear that. My girlfriend, well, if I can even call her that anymore, her father is in a nursing home now and there are people there that have no one. It is sad.
