Photo credit goes to google. For many months now, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Lourdes Sereno has been the subject adverse political activity. Fifteen committee hearings were allotted in the foolish House of Representatives to find probable cause for an impeachment of the Chief Justice. A sorry state as clearly, the script was poorly written. A total waste of the tax payers' precious money. By way of a culminating exercise, for the foolish, again, as these representatives dare thread, a votation was conducted 8th of March, officially the International Women's Day, to validate the probable causes for impeaching a sitting woman chief justice. What an irony! As predicted, and I had the misfortune of hearing, the harshest and meanest adjectives and accusations were attributed to the chief justice. The accusers did not mince with their words. The representatives have become judge and jury. The Chief Justice was lambasted a traitor and a wastrel, mentally deranged and dangerous. I winced and reached out for the remote control, I am not allowing my self to further be subjected by these vermin of politicians. Later in the night, I did click on the news and caught glimpses of Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno on CNN and SONA. I was surprised at the calm and cheerful disposition of the woman under attack. If i was in her shoes, I would have appeared loony with hair strands unruly . That is why she is Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Her record is unblemished. That is why she has no fear. Bring it on, she seems to chuckle with a smile, a sharp contrast to the un-gentleman-like manner of the "bastos" in congress. The Chief Justice is a gentle lady. NB: The word votation is not an actual noun but has been used in school elections. Bastos is Tagalog word meaning unkind or ungentle.

I'm an admirer of the CJ, they don't really have a strong case against her that would stand up to an impeachment trial in my personal opinion, and if that happens we would again all be treated for months to a comedy show of fools and clowns, obviously they are rushing the " quo warranto " bs.

In the past, I was entertained and educated by the Impeachment of Erap. He resigned. The impeachment of Corona, He was impeached. There was a growing revulsion in me, watching the news of plunder and womanizing, greed and power play, it was not a good thing. I had to shut down my self from the news for a year, when I believed Erap would be reigning over us for six years. Then came the impeachment proceedings. We were saved. As with the Corona case, the Binay case, and all men of greed and power. Every crime has a corresponding punishment.
