I have learned that just taking a few minutes to stop and breath deeply often helps. Sometimes when we get into a panic, we forget to breath! So I like to take long, deep breaths, and it usually helps calm me down some!

@Dimples624 Statistics show that the majority of the things we worry about never come to fruition, so it's best not to worry about things at all. I know, I know...easier said than done! haha

Hi. I have lots of anxiety when I overthink things. What I do is calm myself or go somewhere that I can relax.

@Dimples624 thats great! I think that is what we need. A calm and relaxing environment just to get things off our minds. I wish you well, my friend. Just be strong.

There are a few things might help me: meditate, exercise, knit or crochet. I also like to journal, it helps to calm me down. I haven't really try EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques), but I have heard that it's good for anxiety and many others. Perhaps you can check it out online and see if it works for you.

I tend to do things that I enjoy/things that make me happy. I like to listen to my favorite singer and dance. Music really helps me.

I have anxiety. Mindfulness had helped me. And physical exercise, therapy. Now nothing works anymore. I don't know why. Nothing seems to help me.

If you start medication it's hard to live without it.You become dependent if you take them a long time. And withdrawal is awful.

Aww I'm sorry. I know...i don't want to take medicine my whole life. Don't want to be dependent on it. Trying and hoping exercise and positivity will Help. My head can just be awful when my mind just thinks of any horrible situation

Oh yes I have them intensely and had them since I was in my early 20s..a long time now. I had meds for a while but they stopped working, so now I just have to deal with it somehow myself by keeping busy is all I can do. I am sorry to know you suffer from this. I sometimes will go walk and that helps a bit but that is not always convenient when you are busy like you are with a young child.

@Dimples624 I am taking zoloft, clonazepam, haloperidol for hallucination and artane to reduce the side effects like shaking hands and too much saliva.

@wongchoiyee oh my goodness. I've tried a LOT of anti depressants but they were more harm. But i do take clonazepam. I shake and heart beat goes crazy and hard to breathe and mind goes crazy. I'm sorry you have to go through all of that
