Breakfast in bed anyone?

Who likes having breakfast in bed ? not I - unless I am sick and can't get up.. As I open my eyes in the morning I am out of bed and headed for the bathroom - some mornings I may do 10 minutes of stretches before getting up. Anyway, when I am up I am up - no getting back into bed until night time and my bedtime. Of course being served breakfast in bed is a nice gesture from that special someone or family members - especially on occasions like birthdays, wedding anniversary, Mothers Day , etc. but I would rather that someone prepare the breakfast and we all sit down at table to have it. So , do you feel comfortable having breakfast in bed? if not - why not? What kind of breakfast would you prefer to have in bed?

When my kids were little they liked to bring me breakfast in bed but I rarely eat much in the morning so it is not something I do.

Me neither. I usually have a glass of warm water with lemon added an hour before breakfast , so that is the most I would allow if someone brought it to me.

I try not to eat in bed at all. I hate having crumbs or whatever on my sheets! But in theory it would be relaxing or romantic.

I suppose it is romantic - but I won't feel that way If I haven't washed my face and brushed my teeth.

I do not like breakfast in bed at all, I had enough of those when I was in the hospital.

If I have it in my room - it must be at a table. Yes - it can't be helped when in a hospital.

I never liked breakfast in bed. I like to get up and sit at a table. I would not even want a coffee in bed, it is so uncomfortable drinking or eating food in bed.

I don't usually because I have toast and wouldn't like crumbs in the bed but if someone made it for me as a romantic gesture I wouldn't say no

No, can't say I would like breakfast in bed. Too uncomfortable. I eat usually at my computer, or in the living room on a tray table in front of the TV. Occasionally I will actually eat at the table. Usually when someone is over for dinner - holidays. I'll be eating at the table on Easter. I'm expecting my youngest, and maybe my grandson. Depends on work schedules. I know my son has off. My grandson works fast food, so he might not.

After you've had breakfast ? - then that would be snacking in bed. If it is the first time since waking up that you're having it - then it is breakfast in bed - served by you.
