Monique Hall who is a single mother who is employed by Domino's Pizza was given the largest tip of her delivery career recently when she delivered a pizza to a church in Chicago Illinois. New Life Covenant Church pastor Wlifredo De Jesus invited Monique to the stage to receive the surprise of her life. De Jesus told his flock inside the church in February to perform acts of kindness to strangers. The story gets interesting when De Jesus gave Monique a $100 dollar bill as her tip. Then the other members of the congregation donated money to Monique as a thank you for delivering a pizza to their church. Monique cried tears of joy as she received her tip from the pastor and the congregation members as well as a Bible and a gift bag. Monique then returned to her store to divide the tip to the other drivers at her store. You know the saying "Good things do happen when you least expect it."

While I read it, I first though the pastor had picked the wrong bill. Those things just don´t happen. It was nice for the waitress to share her tip.

Monique must be a great person to receive so much love in Chicago from a pastor and his flock to give her a huge tip.

@marguicha I have no idea. I can only guess that Monique was sent by her employer to that church. Call it right place at the right time.

Not only did she receive an act of kindness but she had also paid it forward. Good show! What a blessing!

I was surprised that Monique would receive such a huge tip for her work at Domino's Pizza and taking of care child.

@Starmaiden That is one bad employee who eats a customer's food before a delivery.

@Deepizzaguy She was more worthy of a huge tip than this guy. Check this out.
It’s usually a good sign when a restaurant employee eats food from his/her own menu, but probably not when that food is en route to a hungry customer.

That is nice that the church took action like that. Too many times these days, churches will talk the talk, but not walk the walk. This pastor and his congregation spoke huge volumes to the world when they took action to help someone in the community.

That is true since a lot of people do not always do what they say what they will do when the chips are down in life.
