Power of trust.

One of my role models in life is a middle-aged Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town. His students never believed any of his faith-based "myths." He was in the department of zoology though he has taught plenty of different subjects in physics related schools of thought. His name is Walter Feith. He once had them do an experiment to show the results of faith. Now this was never published or reviewed so you will have to take my word for it. I know the man personally and trust him. He had the students set up two groups of rats. The one group received care and attention. They hand fed the rats, gave them let names and could play with them after class. The other group was fed the exact same diet, but never had any physical interaction. On day he dumped both groups of rats into containers full of water. The rats that receives care and love swam for about 8 hours before drowning. The other group drowned in four hours. Faith has a very real influence in your life today Choose to appreciate the touch of love. Focus on the things He does for you. Look beyond the visible and find hope for a better tomorrow

That is inspiring. Faith gives us the option to see beyond even when everything seems to be falling apart. Faith is the only thing that holds us dear to God and I guess having that provides us an opportunity to believe in something mysterious. It is shown a thousand times in the Bible. So why not have Faith, right?

Most people focus on obedience. Do you know what Exodus 20:1-2 says?

@FrancoisBezuidenhout Yeah. This during the time of Moses. And God said that He is Yahweh who brought the Israelites out of Egypt.

@mlgen1037 those texts are as important as the ten commandments. His actions before their freedom proves his intentions. It built trust

@FrancoisBezuidenhout what if we become undeserving?

@ms1864Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. KJV — Isaiah 53:4 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. KJV — Isaiah 53:5 6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. KJV — Isaiah 53:6

Most people don't think so. They think he is evil for killing rats.

Your role model is someone who purposely kills animals in a misguided attempt to prove his own theories. Nice!!! And you claim to be a Christian! I'm gobsmacked!! Maybe you and he should be dumped in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and left to see who survives the longest thus proving who has the most faith!!
