No advertisement please

I keep getting them in my mail box. Despite the wide and clear sticker that says no advertisement please. My guess is that the guy who distributes flyers has certain amount to finish in order to get paid. So he would drop them into people's mailboxes whether they like it or not. I dispose them in a separate bin inside the garage. By the end of the week, the bin is almost full. So not only that those flyers and magazines take up lots of space in my mailbox but also in the rubbish bag, which is not free. Do you get those advertisements in your mail too?

You've forgotten to mention that whole forests are cut down to produce stuff which lands directly in the bin.

It is truly pathetic. The wastage is enormous.

I also have the sticker on my mail box. The mail mam respects the sticker, those who bring the flyers do not care, they put one in every mail box

Here it only works if you ask them on the spot. They won't put anything in your mail for that day. But they will next time.

@Madshadi We have simply to ask for the official sticker at our local Postal Office. If it's not the "Official Sticker" it is ignored. You order the stickers online

No. I think people here in my country thinks that kind of strategy doesn't seem to work and it's only a waste of flyers.
