I just returned from a long morning walk and feel invigorated after a hugely beautiful weekend. Friday, my favorite day of the week, was spent with dear friends. We chatted and caught up over drinks, shrimp, and New England crab cakes. Our friend took a candid photo of me while on their lanai enjoying the ocean view. We then went to a golf club for dinner. It is known for their sunset views and fabulous food. The club was overlooking the Intercostal, which is what we have as our backyard. After dinner, we returned to our friends' place for dessert and more laughs. That Friday lasted 10 hours from the time we left our home until we returned!!! Saturday my husband and I played golf, had lunch with friends, went out to dinner,and saw a play called, Lend Me a Tenor, at our local theater. It was hilarious! Sunday we played tennis, had brunch with friends, and went to the beach. We had a wonderful weekend and slept like babies each night. How was your weekend?

My weekend was the usual, work. But my Monday, which was yesterday was better. I went to a skin care clinic and had my facial and diamond peel. I felt really good after. Now it's Tuesday here and I'm still in bed mylotting. Can't wait to see the mirror on how my skin is doing.

@DianneN I hope so. I had one hormonal pimple just above my chin and I badly needed a facial yesterday, The aesthetician told me there's not a lot of dirt on my face though, just a few whiteheads. Will go back there after two weeks. I have to take care more of my skin now that i'm 40. Life beings indeed!

It was a fun weekend, but glad it's over. I'm recuperating today. We are to have showers today. It showered twice already, then the sun shines, then it showers again. I'm lucky I walked before the first downpour or I would have been drenched.

All of last week was quite busy with two trips to Portland for me. We went to a local dinner theater Saturday night after I got back to see a great local production of Brigadoon. Sunday, I rested!

@DianneN - I love that photo of you! It is one of the best I have seen. You look like you are in your 20s! My husband and I both had the flu, so this past weekend was not very inspiring. However, I am well today and walked with my friend in Laguna. It is so nice to be feeling back to normal again!

I had a great time during the weekend because my relatives came by to visit my dad who recently had a surgery. I missed having visitors in my parents' house and the way we used to have fun. So every moment is precious. My cousin and I were giggling like kids when we were hoarding chocolates and other goodies as if someone will catch us.The other reason for our giggling was that my mom got flustered when she knew that I got chocolates without her knowledge. Well, my bad that I did ask for her permission but still those foodies are about to expire in a few months. Hahaha but it brought back memories for me and my cousin. Missing being kids.
