Winter is beautiful too

Among the four seasons, winter is the one I always wish to be smaller. Where I live we don't have the white stuff called snow, all we get in winter is rain, cold and wind. I wouldn't mind if the winter was, lets say a month in a year
but 5 to 6 months is too much for me. Even though I have to admit that winter can be beautiful too, I took this photo on my garden in one of these rainy days and I like it a lot. Besides this season isn't my favourite at all, It has a beauty side that I appreciate 
. What about you? Do you like winter? Do you think is is beautiful?
Note: Hope this time my picture is in the right position

Here it will never snow in winter. If it could snow, I would like it much more
Here there are still green leaves in the trees and some flowers are still blooming. If it doesn't rain or it is not very cold, then winter is nice here. I personally like summer much more because there will be much more outdoor activities, such as swimming.

Yes, winter does have some good things about it but some things are appreciated in small doses and like you, I wish it was shorter and make the other seasons longer. I like spring and fall to be longer because winter is too cold and summer is too hot.

Thankfully, I live in a warm, sub-tropical climate where our winters rarely last longer than a month. I couldn't survive very long without the sun, sand and beach! haha

We don't have four seasons to speak of and we don't have winter. We only have two and that's wet and dry season. It's summer here now and we get experience the heat of the sun. Normally, summer season is the season that you won't ever experience rain at all. But time has changed and the weather does too. Rainy season usually starts in May.

i read from your responses and comment that that's holly in the picture. nice to see how that christmas decor actually looks like.
i'm used to the sun so a long dark, cold and rainy winter would probably depress me. maybe i can bear it more if it's a sunny winter.

I like Winter snow only when its soft and pretty, now that it is melting its just dirty and not so pretty. Your photo is lovely

@nela13 if you look on line for a photo edit program (most are free) You can make your photos do all sorts of things including turning them right side up. PhotoScape is the one I use.

I understand your pain, it is just cold, with no reward of snow. But I don't hate winter, I rather it than Spring. I don't like spring at all, I don't like summer either, but I just deal with it or sleep a lot haha Autumn is where it is at, it is everything
