My cold shower!

Its quite chilly here in Nairobi. Woke up a bit late so I din't call my son as he had already been picked by the school bus. I will have to answer some questions when he gets home in the evening. As usual I went to take a hot shower but after lathering myself well, the power decides that it is no longer needed. Imagine from a hot shower to cold one immediately? I almost froze. How is your day going?

You should get used to cold shower. I always take a cold shower immediately I come from bed. But I cannot do it if i get out of bed and do not go to the bathroom immediately.

@aureliah I have a dad who used to fetch rain water in the rainy season to bath with imagine with all that cold. But due to age he cannot dare do that now. My children were used to bathing hot water but immediately they went to boarding school it is now cold water.

@nangayo rain water is ice cold I can’t dare. I also used to bath in cold water when I was in high school ten all of a sudden I started fearing it.

@aureliah Visit some place like Shenzhen of China, Cambodia, or Thailand....all are warm, even hot.

If you can relate you can understand how I felt on a chilly morning. I felt like I was losing my breath and would run away from the water but I had to rinse myself at the same time.

Today is okay. I won't be going to the pool this morning as I got a cold, and will try to get rid of it today, so I can return tomorrow.

Reminds me of my coworker who was showering when the water turned cold. He forgot to pay his electricity bill.
