A day of organization.

I worked this morning from five am to just after nine am. The u boat of freight I was given to work on was stationary and I kind of was dreading it because that aisle is always one that gets trashed. It was as I expected it, pretty disastrous. Bit as I unloaded boxes and put them away I also organized a lot. I have to toot my own horn for minute here and say it looks so much better now. I forgot to take a picture before I organized it but have attached one from mid organization. All in all quick shift and at least for now the teaching supplies look better and people can tell what we actually have.

Gee, ya wanna come live with me? I so dearly want to be organized but it's miles from my grasp! I'm a teddy bear artist and one of the most disorganized people I know! ROTFL. My studio was a disaster (well, technically it still is as it burned down October second of last year). I now share my "studio" and my closet and my underwear drawer all in the same room. At least the teddy bears don't end up wearing a pair of ladies panties and a bra! but it still could use some organizing! I envy you your tenacity in getting in there and organizing! Too bad the people you work with don't appreciate your hard work and take a few minutes to be careful to kept it organized.

I sent a picture to one of my co workers that wasn't there this morning, and she said it looked better. I doubt the manager will even notice it though, she tends to overlook things like that. It bugs me because inventory is about a month away and I want the store to look good, our store manager doesn't seem to care.

@thislittlepennyearns If I lived closer I'd come by and kick your manager for you! I had one like yours, the little twit only showed emotion was when they fired me for getting injured on the job. They worked the women like pack mules and if we got seriously injured w were fired. I went from bottom pay scale to top in ten months when it was supposed to take two years. The next step was to promote me to management trainee, and they didn't want women managers, so they came up with a lame excuse to fire me. I hope they treat you much better!

@BearArtistLady my store and district manager are both women. The guys i work with can't believe that I'll willingly work freight and put them to shame most of the time.e. We only have one male manager and he and I get along because we have the same attitude about things so I lucked out. My store manager shouldn't be a store manager , she's nice but she doesn't have a managers brain

Nice. Well, you seem to have worked hard this morning. Nothing wrong with that. Hard work never killed anyone. So you are a good organizer from reading this. I love to organize things around my house.

Is there ever really a such thing as organization in a dollar store? It just seems as if they are perpetually messy! What is wrong with people that they trash those type of stores so bad?

I'm kind of dreading seeing it today when I go in.
