I want to know more about Japan!

So I love learning about different countries and one of those countries is Japan!!! I have japanese friends and I learn more about Japan and I keep falling in love with Japan. I want to taste the foods too! I have learnt about the suicide forest, the foods or snacks for example mochi, onigiri, tamago, omurice, ramen.
I learnt about the writing. Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana.
I fell more in love with Japan because of they animes too! Whats even more awesome is they got the anime museum over there. What else is there to know about Japan? I want to know about the houses, the cultures, the shrines and so on.

The modern day Japanese people are immigrants from Korea and China who developed their own language and culture. The original residents of Japan are the Ainus. Ainus have caucasian features like Blue eyes and light brown eyes but they are not white.

@bela360 Pure ainus are now a super minority, Most of them are now mixed with modern Japanese. If you see some Japanese people who looks kind of white, there is a chance they are either part Ainu or Part Jomon. Jomon people are similar to Ainu but culturally more Japanese.
This guy is an Ainu.

That's great! I live in Japan. Sometimes I post about it. I haven't been very active recently but in older posts I wrote about customs and holidays and things. I hope to post more when I have time. Nice to meet you!

@bela360 They are generally friendly and polite and are very happy to make friends with foreigners, or they get embarrassed because they are afraid to try to speak English. As soon as they know you speak Japanese it's ok. There is little crime but of course there is some!

Oh wow!! How it is? Are they friendly like my friends? Do they act weird around foreigners who live in Japan? Is it true there is no crime or the crime rate is rather low?
