Drone Flying is the in-thing right now

I wish I could buy a drone like my friend. He seems crazy about flying it. Where ever he goes he takes it with him. In the video I've uploaded here, he went to a small island to swim and dive and to fly his loved drone.
Is it legal to fly a drone in your area?
What about you? How much you enjoy doing it?

I heard about it. Some countries allow people to do it, while some others have already set up the rule that flying drones is illegal. Maybe later on in my countries will do the same.

@yanzalong With each new technological invention, there is suddenly a need for new rules it seems. I did hear they were using drones for finding people sometimes so no doubt they will become part and parcel of our world. At the moment they are a bit of a novelty.

I was told about that as well. In Indonesia it is still fee. May be later on the government will ban it.

Yes it is legal. Photography is no longer my hobby thus I have not become interested in drones.

I like to do my own drone. Next year I can fly my drone. I am studying on that.

There were different types of drone.
Photography
Defense
Courier
Crop and field protection
Cost might vary .
But you can buy drones for $250 USD
