Turning Back The Hands Of Time

I remember as a teen and a kid I had some much fun but it seems like when you grow up your care free stage kinda halts a little bit. Sometimes I wish I could be as care free as I was when I was younger I had more fun and I was happier .Things change not sure if for the worse or the good.

Yes, there are changes and responsibilities, but it is still possible to keep the joy and wonder in life. Take a few moments to enjoy a sunset (or a sunrise, if you are up early enough.) Walk on a beach, smell a flower, pat a dog. Allow yourself to enjoy. Sometimes people quote the saying, "Life wasn't meant to be easy" but the second part of that is, "but it can be beautiful."

It is fun being a kid and just play with your friends. Adulting is another thing but it can still be fun. It is just that you have more responsibilities to do and make decisions on your own.

The trouble is we often don't realise how good those times were until we look back. I didn't realise how much freedom I had back then until I had kids, not that I would change anything, but once I had them free time was rare.

I hear you. My teen friends and I made up a group and we would hang out at my mom's apartment listening to our favorite singers and dancing and just plain having fun. SIGH Now it is just worrying, responsibility and the usual rush for existence.
