Just after posting my discussion about emission this morning, the lights went off. I was surprised because our area should not be included in the power outage according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). I had to call up the electric cooperative to inquire and the lady employee told me, “Ma’am, if you have the brownout now, you are included”. No choice.
So, I and my sister went out at 9AM and although the whole city did not have electricity, the traffic lights were not operational too. Driving and traffic were so toxic.
I took the power interruption into positivity. Since I cannot browse on the net, Facebook, and this site, I was able to concentrate on finishing the evaluation of my students, and made lengthy comments on each of them.
Lights resumed at 6:30PM tonight. But wait, there’s more: I have to do my assigned chores, and hopefully, I can stay in this site until midnight. I have a goal to reach before this day ends.
How was your day today?

Yes. Power interruption was beneficial to me.I didn't have the urgency to rush just so to be here. The brown out did it.

We hate having a power-outage, which often last at least one day. I had a very nice day, today:)

@ridingbet Yes, it comes before we ever hear about it. It's never announced in our community.

our government, you mean. but it is our electric cooperative that only brings the electricity here. it is the NGCP that should deliver the electricity to every household.
why hija, is your government different from mine? hahah. just kidding

@JustBhem it is the NGCP that does all the electricity of the whole of our country. The problem should be addressed to them. If our cooperative here has brownout these are announced. So I don't think our local government can do anything about this.
We are just a part of a whole.
