United airline dog died in overhead bin

Hello everyone.I am sure most of you heard about this stupid,stupid thing that UA done.What was they thinking.you do not put a dog in the overhead bin. Where was the owner at the of this.Why did he or she allow this to happen. I am very heart broken about this.I am an animal lover and this should not ever happen. Beside this tragic news.we are digging out 20 inches of snow. Most of the morning.Have a Dr.appt.at ten. Will make it. Also Stephen Hawking had died he was 76 I believe

It's very bad news for the owner and cruelty to the dog. They should be sued for this.

Holy moly 20 inches of snow is like a blizzard. That is so sad about the dog. I had assumed the owner put it in there to save money or something. I wonder whose mistake this was! How awful

Yeah, when I heard that on the news about the dog in the overhead, I was maddern' hell @amadeo . And for the owner of the dog not to challenge that??? Are you kidding me??!!!!

Sorry Stephen Hawking I did not like when he was alive. The dog situation I am very sad that happened. Why was the dog put in an overhead bin and yes, where was the owner in all this?

According to the news here an air stewardess insisted the dog had to be put in the locker in its flight travel crate! The owner tried to protest but eventually gave in! Sorry but I would have walked off the plane no way would I put my dog in a locker! 20 inches of snow? Wow the UK ground to a halt for 6 inches of snow a week ago! R.I.P Stephen Hawking

Hello, I live all the way in England and even I heard about this. Apparently they forced the owner to put the pup in there. She didn’t want to but I guess she was just following orders :( so so sad! I am a massive dog lover as well so to see that this morning was awful. Hopefully the people responsible lose there job or something.
