Have you ever wondered why most cats do not come to you when you call them. That is because they are busy doing something else like sleeping and you are bothering them. Cats will always go to the one person who does not like them because that one person is not calling them or staring at them. They feel that person is a welcome lap since that person is not making noise to scare them. So if you do not like cats act like you do so they will not come to you.

These are not my observations. I like cats and when I call them, many come. Some even come running! When I visited relatives, I called their cat which hadn't met me before. It came to me, rolled on its back and offered me its belly to be stroked. My cousin's husband watched the scene and was flabbergasted. The cat had never done that before.
I appreciate your observations ...felines are like that only...they want to be like what they are while dogs the canines are different they wanted to be get loved...that's why the moment you call your dog they will readily come to you while your cat may show an attitude! Thanks @jstory07!
